Audible has named 15 new inductees into its Narrator Hall of Fame, Variety reports.

The audiobook company, which is owned by Amazon, established its Narrator Hall of Fame in 2018, initially honoring narrators including Vikas Adam, Alan Cumming, Jim Dale, and Robin Miles.

Julia Whelan, one of the audiobook industry’s most prolific narrators, was inducted into this year’s class; she is known for her work on books including Ottessa Moshfegh’s My Year of Rest and Relaxation, Weike Wang’s Chemistry, and Kristin Hannah’s The Women.

Ray Porter, who has lent his voice to books such as Don Winslow’s The Borderand Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary, was inducted, alongside Will Damron (Callum Wink’s Beartooth); Edoardo Ballerini (Thomas Pynchon’s Shadow Ticket); Ramón de Ocampo (Erin Entrada Kelly’s The First State of Being); Janina Edwards (Tiya Miles’ All That She Carried); Andrew Eiden (Jon Cowan’s Proof); and Hillary Huber (Lisa Gardner’s One Step Too Far).

Also joining Audible’s hall of fame were JD Jackson (Attica Locke’s Bluebird, Bluebird); January LaVoy (Danzy Senna’s Caucasia); Saskia Maarleveld (Emma Knight’s The Life Cycle of the Common Octopus); Soneela Nankani (Melody Razak’s Moth); Thérèse Plummer (Ali Hazelwood’s Love, Theoretically); Steve West (Michael Ondaatje’s Warlight); and Emily Woo Zeller (Marcy Dermansky’s Hot Air).

“To select the latest inductees, we relied on our years of partnership and experience with the narrator community and our intimate understanding of what makes an amazing performance,” Audible said. “Each narrator featured here has a wide, varied, and vibrant body of work, exceptional listener reviews, a commitment to the craft and narrator community, and dedication to spreading awareness of audio performance.”
