The sitcom The Big Bang Theory concluded its 12-season run in 2019, but fans of the show now have something new to look forward to: a book about the series featuring interviews with its cast and producers.
Grand Central will publish Jessica Radloff’s The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series this fall, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The press describes the book as “a riveting, entertaining look at the sitcom sensation.”
The Big Bang Theory, which followed two nerdy physicist roommates and their circle of friends, debuted in 2007. Featuring actors Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco, the series was a ratings hit that earned 46 Emmy Award nominations over its long run.
Radloff, senior editor for Glamour magazine, said that she covered the series for most of its run.
“I thought I knew everything—and I mean everything—about it,” she said. “Turns out, after doing over 116 hours of brand-new interviews for this book I learned my knowledge only scratched the surface, and I promise I’m not over-selling that.”
Radloff shared news of her book on Instagram, writing that she’s “ecstatic to finally (!!!) share the news that for the last 19 months, I’ve been working, writing, and living what feels like a double life for one very important reason: the oral history of The Big Bang Theory!”
Radloff’s book is scheduled for publication on Oct. 11.
