Former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale is writing a book, and some associates of the president are worried about what it might contain, Bloomberg News reports.

The longtime associate of Trump has a literary agent and is preparing to sign a deal with a publisher, unnamed sources told Bloomberg. They said there’s a possibility that the information contained in the book could be less than flattering to Trump and his family.

Parscale ran the digital side of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, and in 2018 was named the campaign director for the president’s reelection bid. He remained in that role until July, when Trump replaced him with Bill Stepien. Trump was said to be unhappy with Parscale’s performance after a poorly attended campaign event in Oklahoma.

In September, Parscale was taken to a psychiatric hospital by police in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, after his wife called 911 to report that he was suicidal. Police confiscated 10 guns from Parscale’s home after the incident.

While Bloomberg’s sources seem to think the book could be damaging to the president, Parscale’s social media presence seems to suggest that he is, in the words of his Twitter bio, “MAGA for life.”

On Nov. 5, Parscale tweeted what seemed to be a threat to Republicans insufficiently supportive of Trump: “If you want to win in 2024 as a Republican. I would probably start saying something. Just saying.”
