Bestselling author Brené Brown has a new book coming out in November.
Random House will publish Brown’s Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience, the company announced in a news release.
In the book, the publisher says, “Brown takes us on a journey through eighty-seven of the emotions and experiences that define what it means to be human. As she maps the necessary skills and an actionable framework for meaningful connection, she gives us the language and tools to access a universe of new choices and second chances—a universe where we can share and steward the stories of our bravest and most heartbreaking moments with one another in a way that builds connection.”
Brown, a research professor of social work at the University of Houston, is a hugely popular lecturer whose books, including Rising Strong and Braving the Wilderness, have shot up the bestseller charts.
Her new book, Random House says, is based on her “extensive research into the experiences that make us who we are.”
On Instagram, Brown teased the book, writing, “This book explores the language and tools we need to access a universe of new choices and second chances—a universe where we can share and steward the stories of our bravest and most heartbreaking moments with one another in a way that cultivates meaningful connection.”
Atlas of the Heart is slated for publication on Nov. 30.
