Robb Moreira and Sofia Palmero deliver a heartwarming exploration of trauma, loss, and connection in this queer YA romance. Sebas is a new arrival to TECH, an anti-bullying high school where students have a monthly word limit. They must watch what they say at all times or face consequences. Here, Sebas meets Lu, a TECH ambassador with a long history of being bullied. While Sebas and Lu disagree on TECH's way of doing things, they eventually bond over their differences. Sebas helps Lu experience new thrills, while Lu supports Sebas as he cares for his dying mother. Moreira's take on Sebas is lighthearted yet brimming with grief. Palmero's Lu is emotive and poetic. Together, the two illuminate beauty and love amid a techy world.
