Aside from their interest in the weather, serious and precise Jackson and bubbly Delilah are very different from each other. When they are assigned to report together on a blizzard heading toward Baltimore, they realize they have more in common than they thought. Meyers and Pressley give expressive performances, keeping listeners entertained and invested. Both narrators capture the protagonists’ personalities, and their portrayals of secondary characters are amusing and on point, but some inconsistencies in volume can be distracting.

After kissing Anthony Russo under the mistletoe to make her longtime crush jealous, romance author Delilah Gill realizes she might have made a mistake. Anthony kisses just like the heroes she's always written about, but he has no interest in being a part of Delilah's games. Bloom's and Samuels's deliveries of the comic banter between Delilah and Anthony are supported by their portrayals of the large cast of secondary characters. This audiobook is perfect for listeners who enjoy rom-coms and small-town settings.

With quirky characters, fast-paced dialogue, and a unique setting, this contemporary take on PRIDE AND PREJUDICE is enhanced by narrator Julia Whelan. Starting fresh in New York City, Liz Bennet works as an assistant by day; at night she takes the stage at Manhattan's top burlesque venue. Whelan captures Liz's initial attraction to patron Will Darcy--and projects her dismay when she soon discovers that he's rude and that his wealth management job may directly impact her beloved club. But when the two are repeatedly thrown together, their relationship sizzles. Whelan perfectly transitions between the diverse characters as she depicts Liz and Darcy's chemistry.
