Listeners will become indignant and want to defend Miracle Books when the same crowd turns against Nora for refusing to stop selling all books containing magic. Then Nora finds a mysterious page of what looks to be a manuscript on old magic just as she discovers the body of a young woman. Both of these developments lead to a new mystery. Dukehart does an effective job of demonstrating the love and support the Society friends have for each other.
