Her portrayals are often inconsistent and difficult to distinguish, which will frustrate listeners. That said, the character of Sydney is clearly and consistently depicted; Maby gives her a fierce focus and a single-minded dedication to her task.

Huynh perfectly captures Ben's growing frustration with his life. Fantasy lovers will find themselves enthralled when Huynh hisses as an ancient snake god or chokes as a soul-gardener drowns.
