Hoover delivers animated dialogue and captures the spirit of Parker's thoughts as the vintner tries to save her business by tracking down the killer. Noticeable breath sounds can be distracting, but listeners will enjoy the descriptions of Boulder and the characters' interactions. Red herrings and good plotting make for a twisty mystery.
