Narrator Pippa Bennett-Warner successfully portrays the numerous central and secondary characters, male and female, of various nationalities. Her posh English accent is easy to listen to. The story introduces a new generation of secret agents who are battling present-day challenges to world survival. While fans may be surprised at the changes to longstanding characters such as Moneypenny and Q, they will still find intense action, incredible gadgetry, supervillains, and a fast-moving plot. Attentive listeners who keep track of the many changes in point of view will be rewarded with an entertaining, cinematic listen.
