by Sarah Adler ; read by Mara Wilson ‧ RELEASE DATE: April 30, 2024
Narrator Mara Wilson returns for Sarah Adler's latest rom-com, bringing to life former con-woman-turned-fake-medium Gretchen Acorn. When Gretchen accepts a lucrative ghost-busting gig from her best client, she is shocked to discover that a real ghost is causing the chaos on Charlie Waybill's struggling goat farm. Ghost Everett is certain that Charlie, his ancestor, will meet the same untimely end that he did if the farm is sold. Gretchen will need to use all of her fake medium powers to convince the gruff yet secretly soft and very handsome Charlie to stay--all while she is up to her elbows in baby goats. Wilson's droll and witty narration is a perfect match for the humor and hijinks of this fun rom-com.

Samantha Brentmoor and Robert Hatchet mesmerize and delight in a duet-style narration of this steamy, dark rom-com with the perfect touch of suspense. In this sequel to Tourist Season (2025), Nolan Rhodes continues to dig up more secrets in Cape Carnage and discovers that Harper Starling isn’t who he thought she was. As these two serial killers fall in love, their loyalties are tested, and they question whom they can truly trust. Brentmoor’s light, alluring voice perfectly captures Harper’s quick wit and feisty sass in an expressive, nuanced performance, while Hatchet’s rich timbre poignantly complements Nolan’s conflicted, dominant, and protective demeanor. Together, Brentmoor and Hatchet fashion vibrant and evocative character voices.

With this installment, narrator Justine Eyre concludes Singh's series about archangels, vampires, and the humans who share the world with them. Elena was transformed from a human into an angel at the start of the series and has spent a millennium as archangel Raphael's consort. Over the years, Elena has lost human family and friends, and Eyre brings poignancy to her narration as Elena remembers those she has lost. When Elena becomes pregnant with Raphael's child, Eyre expresses the couple’s joy and worry. Raphael is a powerful being, and Eyre aptly communicates this. She also handles the multiple characters who interact with Elena and Raphael with ease.
