Skillfully constructed, this audiobook gives comedian and writer Seth Rogen an opportunity to display his acting chops through his narration. He includes stories of his early stand-up appearances as a teenager, which are hilarious. The added cast of mostly unidentified narrators, who include actors/comedians Jay Pharoah and Dan Aykroyd, along with musician Billy Idol, adds zest to the production and gives listeners a fully rounded portrait of this wild man as a teen and young man. His stories may not appeal to all listeners because of his bleep-worthy language and tales of drug use. Nonetheless, he gives every listener a laugh. Many will identify with the situations he describes and empathize. His life is like a good reality TV show, and hysterical to boot.

An entertaining memoir by a true all-American of popular culture.
Bradshaw's football career ended in the 1980s, and these days he's probably most widely known for his ubiquitous cultural presence in movies, commercials, and reality television. Bradshaw takes a long and detailed look back at his consequential life decisions. He's a gifted narrator and storyteller, the kind of guy who can instantly build rapport with his audience. It's no surprise this audiobook is entertaining and occasionally moving. As Bradshaw reflects on the characters he's played over the years, essentially simple variations of himself, his voice reflects a self-effacing humility. Bradshaw has been able to build his extended second career with this warm approachability.

Lundgren, the Swede best known as Russian fighting behemoth Drago in Rocky IV, offers a straightforward, unadorned, and candid text with a workmanlike narration that suits his firsthand reflections. The perspectives of male members of his entourage, such as his managers and trainers, are voiced with great skill and variety by Rick Adamson, while personal reflections from women are voiced by the equally skilled Nan McNamara. Lundgren has suffered multiple bouts of cancer, and his memoir goes beyond karate belts and film performances to focus on his health battles. Now an American citizen, Lundgren shares his love for his adopted country.
