Mike Chamberlain’s crisp articulation works well with this scientific look at creating happiness. Part of his skill is the perfect phrasing and tonal modulation that help these ideas flow seamlessly. Especially impressive is the authentic way he conveys the author’s boyish humor and enthusiasm. He makes the entire production sound fresh. The book uses accessible summaries of recent neuroscience and behavioral studies to show how we can adjust our perception, circumstances, and energy to get what we want from life. The bulk of this research, along with the five skills the author formulates, fit well into the power-of-intention paradigm. They’re successfully brought together through the author’s personable writing and Chamberlain’s outstanding performance.
