Bond's lovely voice, genteel manner, and upper-crust pronunciations deliver entertaining portraits of a determined queen, an insouciant Princess Margaret, and a canny Queen Mum. She smoothly voices popular politicos and the Queen's group of dedicated women assistants. Bond's performance highlights political intrigues, murderous intentions, and a sharp-witted, spirited queen. Highly enjoyable listening.

Sanjeev Bhaskar makes wonderful work of this brilliant, funny, and thought-provoking thriller. What happens when you mix those classics of Edwardian fiction, Sherlock Holmes and A.J. Raffles, with a mysterious character from the African jungle and recast the story’s narrator as law student Balvinder Singh?
