KIRKUS REVIEW

Comic strip fans do not need to be introduced to Barnaby, and this is for them, though even a fan might find the episodes too long and a compilation of the stories monotonous. A series of the adventures of the winsome Barnaby and his fairy god-father, Mr. O'Malley. Barnaby's parents remain skeptical of Mr. O'Malley's existence even though he ruins blackouts by turning on the lights and catches burglars for them. There is a good proportion of reality and unreality.....For those that like him.
