DOCTOR NO by Ian Fleming

DOCTOR NO

KIRKUS REVIEW

M sends James Bond, partly for penance, partly for convalescence, to the Caribbean to trace the disappearance of two agents who have trespassed on the isolated island empire of the half Chinese, half German Dr. No. With a native, and with a nude blonde whom he finds on the beach, Bond is hunted down through the mangrove swamps by the maniacal doctor who has an arsenal of deadly instruments at the command of his mechanical hands and a mad dream of conquest in mind.... Probably his most fantastically grotesque adventure to date, but still yes for his following.
