KIRKUS REVIEW

Universal history in terms of cataclysm- a highly original and esoteric thesis which taps the Old Testament, rabbinical sources, writings of the Mayas, the Chinese, Phoenicians, Babylonians, North American Indians, Polynesians, for records of their cosmic upheavals mirrored in their folklore. There and in literature, he seeks to trace the evolution of the planetary system, particularly Venus and Mars, to its present state. His theory is based on the premise that when the same event is embodied in a number of different cultures and traditions which are furthermore corroborated by records of history, ancient charts, natural history, this event can be accepted as probably authentic. His conjectures will startle scholars and laymen alike.
