KIRKUS REVIEW

This really belongs under PICTURE STORY BOOKS, for the text follows the pictures in the form of expanded captions... A modernization of the legendary Androcles and the Lion, in the story of a small boy who helped a circus lion out of trouble -- and won his gratitude and friendship. Text unimportant -- but the pictures are amusing and 100% boy appeal.
