THE GOLDEN EGG BOOK

KIRKUS REVIEW

One of the best of the Big Golden Books -- and tops in merchandise value, while at the same time the simple little story has very direct appeal, particularly for Easter seasonal sale, to any three-to-five year old. Stunning production with lavish color, and really beautiful illustrations -- spot drawings with lots of white space to set them off -- and elaborate decorative borders making the oval of an Easter egg. A very very simple little story of a bunny who wondered what was inside an egg and a duckling who wondered what the bunny was -- and then of the bunny and the duck making friends. Hard surface glaze finish, for heavy board binding.
