KIRKUS REVIEW

Although consistent in her use of a distinctively clean, economical style, Tafuri always has something new to say with her illustrations. Here, a series of questions ("What has sports?") leads from part to whole: just the cow's back and tail appear with the question; the next page shows the whole cow eating hay. A well-designed book, with the simple text in very large, elegant type and an exceptionally handsome title page. A pleasant way for the youngest to expand their verbal and visual vocabularies.
