SPACE CADET

KIRKUS REVIEW

A writer well-known in the "astounding story" field, and author of last year's Space Ship, projects us into the year 2075 with all the lift and zip of which he is capable, which is plenty... Building up a fairly credible series of family relationships in this intricately mechanized world, the story attains that suspended belief which is the special appeal of a brilliant, imaginative gift. The Jules Verne adventures through space seem as important as any adventure could be. Good plot, excellent suspense and fantastically beautiful machines blend in a story that should make long time good reading for readers interested in mechanics.
