KIRKUS REVIEW

A wholly original subject in this story of a bat who was inspired by an outdoor movie to launch himself into the daytime world. Sheer fantasy- no segment of natural history- but handled with imagination, humor and sensitivity. The double-spreads start with muted colors of the night world- expand to day light vividness- and slide back to the grays and blacks that are Rufus' normal colors.
