THE THREE ROBBERS by Tomi Ungerer

THE THREE ROBBERS

KIRKUS REVIEW

It is hard to believe that these three Beckett-like robbers stealing along the midnight countryside can terrorize anyone, but their trunks full of gold are ample proof of their ability. Only little Tiffany, the solitary passenger in a carriage on its way to her wicked aunt is delighted to see the robbers. From that moment on the robbers are diverted from their path of crime as they gather together all the lonely, abandoned children of the world. These mysterious pictures, too funny to be scary, will enchant the young listener.
