Best Books of 2013 for Newly Independent Readers [SHOWING SLIDE 1 OF 10]

Learning to read is hard work, which is why it's so very important that kids stretching their literary wings have great books to practice on, so they'll have incentive to fly on their own. We've pulled together some titles from our Best Children's of 2013 that'll satisfy that need, from the very elementary See Me Dig! and Come Back, Ben! to the more substantial Left Behind and The Year of Billy Miller, with a nifty clutch of titles in between.
