Readers will soon have four new chances to travel to a galaxy far, far away.

A quartet of new Star Warsbooks is coming in 2022, StarWars.com announced. The books will feature a host of characters familiar to fans of the movie series.

The novel Brotherhood, written by A Beginning at the End author Mike Chen, will follow Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in the midst of the Clone Wars. Del Rey will publish the book on May 10, 2022.

Disney Lucasfilm Press is set to release the middle-grade anthology Stories of Jedi and Sith on June 7, 2022. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are among the characters featured in the book, edited by Jennifer Heddle, and featuring stories by authors including Roseanne A. Brown, Tessa Gratton, and Alex Segura.

Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian will be the heroes of Adam Christopher’s Shadow of the Sith, which takes place in between the events depicted in Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. The novel from Christopher, author of Made to Kill, will be released by Del Rey on June 28, 2022.

On July 26, 2022, Disney Lucasfilm Press will publish Padawan, a young-adult novel by Kiersten White (The Camelot Betrayal). The book is a coming-of-age tale featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The announcement of the new books comes during Star Wars Reads, a monthlong celebration of books based on the films’ universe.
