Kellyanne Conway, the former senior counselor to President Donald Trump, has signed a multimillion dollar book deal, the Daily Mail reports.
Conway, known for her widely mocked attempt to rebrand lies from the Trump administration as “alternative facts,” will reportedly write a memoir about her tenure in the White House, the newspaper claims, citing a “well-placed insider.”
“Of all the White House insiders, Kellyanne is going to write the most unvarnished, eye-popping account of her time working for the president,” the unnamed source said. “She’s got some of us quaking in our boots.”
It’s unclear why pro-Trump insiders might be worried about the memoir. Conway has remained a steadfast supporter of Trump in the days since she left her White House job earlier this year. Trump appointed her to the board of visitors of the Air Force Academy this week.
The Daily Mail reports that Conway’s book will address the rift between her and her husband, lawyer George T. Conway III, who is a vocal critic of Trump.
It remains to be seen whether Kellyanne will be the only Conway to end up with a book deal. Her daughter Claudia, a 16-year-old TikTok celebrity, has posted on social media about her distaste for Trump, whom she has called “a horrible person,” and about her desire to be emancipated from her Republican parents.
In August, Claudia tweeted, “my mother’s job ruined my life to begin with. heartbreaking that she continues to go down that path after years of watching her children suffer. selfish. it’s all about money and fame, ladies and gentlemen.”
