The winners of the Audie Awards, given annually by the Audio Publishers Association in recognition of “distinction in audiobooks and spoken-word entertainment,” were announced at a ceremony in New York on Monday evening.

Sunrise on the Reaping, written by Suzanne Collins and narrated by Jefferson White, won the audiobook of the year award. The book is the latest installment in Collins’ Hunger Games series of young-adult dystopian novels.

Kristin Atherton won the best fiction narrator award for Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander, while Blair Underwood took home the best nonfiction narrator prize for Lionel Richie’s Truly.

Tina Knowles’ Matriarch, narrated by Knowles, Beyoncé, Solange, Kelly Rowland, and Angie Beyincé, won the autobiography/memoir prize, while Taylor Jenkins Reid’s Atmosphere, narrated by Kristen DiMercurio, Julia Whelan, and Reid, took home the fiction award.

The middle-grade prize went to All the Blues in the Sky, written by Renée Watson and narrated by Bahni Turpin, and the young-adult award was given to Under the Same Stars, written by Libba Bray and narrated by Jeremy Carlisle Parker, January LaVoy, and Major Curda. Winning the young listeners award was Secrets of the Purple Pearl, written by Kate McKinnon and narrated by McKinnon and Emily Lynne.

Separation of Church and Hate, written and narrated by John Fugelsang, won the nonfiction award, and Baldwin: A Love Story, written by Nicholas Boggs and narrated by Ron Butler, won in the history category. John Green won the prize for narration by the author for Everything Is Tuberculosis.
