KIRKUS REVIEW

A rhyming celebration of Indian food introduces readers to samosa, roti and paneer, among other delicacies. The composition is as busy as traditional Indian décor, bright collage images of the dishes set against backgrounds that evoke the patterned cloths and paintings of the subcontinent. This results in a visually challenging environment for babies and toddlers, however novel its intentions. (glossary)
