KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a popular type of book for small fry. The pictures have double exposure, so to speak. Folded, they show one thing, open another. Opposite each picture a guessing riddle in jingle queries what is behind the fold. Turn back the flap of the picture and there it is:- a rabbit (in his hole); a car (in a garage), birds (in their nest), and so on. Pictures in broad sweeps of flat color, a little more stylized than most of Rey's work.
