KIRKUS REVIEW

Father, Mother, Billy and Suzy buy a house in the country, a nice house with shutters, and their discussions about what color to paint it come to more than family quibbling. Suzy wants it red for spring; Billy wants it yellow for summer; Mother brown for fall; and Father green for winter. But when only the three primary colors are available at the local store, Father shows them how to make a white house- nice for any season. Pictures- in primary colors- by the author. Nice.
