TO FEAR A PAINTED DEVIL by Ruth Rendell

TO FEAR A PAINTED DEVIL

KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a comfortable, old-fashioned novel of suspense bearing the classic puzzler symbol of the Crime Club series. Patrick Selby and his wife weren't getting on well when she invited a crew of gossipy hangers-on to her birthday party. These guests presented various possibilities as Patrick's potential killers. A natty, chatty English countryside affair, quite good of its kind.
