KIRKUS REVIEW

Would-be Hollywood filmmaker Stoney Winston (the genially goofy Truck Shot, etc.) is now employed as a writer/gofer on the TV game show Oh-Pun Sesame!, where someone is feeding the answers to one of the contestants. Could it be the Vanna clone, hostess Kelli Dengham, who, earlier, posed in the nude and is now being blackmailed? Two blackmailers die; two starlets are winged in their silicone; and two sleazy, competitive media-moguls try their best to outmaneuver each other while Stoney strips Kelli's real secret bare, confronts her anonymous letter-writing swain, and proposes marriage to his pregnant girlfriend, Sally, before resigning from the show. A slapstick, slapdash satire of mindless quiz shows, backstage personnel, Inquirer scandal sheets, and the like. For those who don't take murder too seriously...or such incidentals as logical plotting.
