KIRKUS REVIEW

Another Nero Wolfe brain workout, with Archie Goodwin providing the leg work. They are set a multiple problem when a succession of clients -- all related to the same case- come to them for help. A rich executive's love nest- the women who had keys to it- and a conflict of interest in those women provided plenty of red her-rings (and considerable doubt as to who would pay the piper) before Wolfe sorted them out and came up with the answer. The sex side- while it remains on paper and in Archie's mind- may lure some readers and prove distasteful to others.
