KIRKUS REVIEW

Two science fiction fantasies -- both projected into worlds of the future. The first tells how Pennsylvania hexing outweighs science in combatting the inexplicable misbehavior of airships; the second introduces the protection racket into the world of magic and it takes a licensed magician and an honest witch to break up the new gangsterdom. An expert technician in this field, Heinlein produces able, highly imaginative tall tales.
