Simon & Schuster Audio has revealed the cast of the audiobook edition of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s next book.

Reid’s The Last Days of Vic & Coco is set for publication next year by Atria. The novel, which was announced last month, will tell the story of Victoria Lucchese and Colette Wilson, two pool hustlers in Arizona in the 1970s who hatch a desperate plan they hope will lead to a big payday.

The cast of the audiobook edition of the novel will include Julia Whelan, the prolific narrator who has lent her voice to several of Reid’s books, including After I Do; Forever, Interrupted; and Malibu Rising. The actor Jennifer Beals, who voiced the title character on Reid’s Daisy Jones & the Six, will also perform in the Vic & Coco audiobook. The other cast members include prolific audiobook narrator Edoardo Ballerini, known for his role as Corky Caporale on The Sopranos, and Danny Burstein, who won a Tony Award for playing Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! on Broadway.

“I’m such a fan of Julia Whelan, Jennifer Beals, Edoardo Ballerini, and Danny Burstein, so having them come together as the narrators for The Last Days of Vic & Coco feels like an extraordinary gift,” Reid said in a statement. “Every one of them brings something special to these characters, and together they’ve created a listening experience that’s so much more than I ever imagined. I feel incredibly fortunate to have a cast of this caliber lending their voices to this story, and I can’t wait for listeners to experience what they’ve created together."

All editions of The Last Days of Vic & Coco are slated for release on March 2, 2027.
