IT'S A BATTLEFIELD by Graham Greene

IT'S A BATTLEFIELD

KIRKUS REVIEW

Not a mystery story, but will appeal to those mystery fans who liked BEFORE THE FACT, and THE PARADINE CASE, though there is less of continuity of thought and plot, and more of the flashlight treatment of his earlier book, ORIENT EXPRESS. The battlefield is the background against which various characters, connected one way or another with a murderer sentenced to death, play out their parts. London today, with cuts from various social strata.
