MrBeast’s voice is familiar to his more than 500 million YouTube subscribers—and now he’ll be using it in the audiobook edition of his first novel.

Jimmy Donaldson, better known by his online handle MrBeast, will make a guest appearance in the audiobook version of The Most Dangerous Games, the thriller he co-wrote with novelist James Patterson, William Morrow announced in a news release. The audiobook will be narrated by actor Nolan North.

MrBeast and Patterson’s novel was announced last year. It is the first collaboration between MrBeast, whose YouTube challenge videos have captivated Generation Z viewers, and Patterson, the prolific novelist known for his books featuring the character of Alex Cross.

Their novel will follow competitors in the Games, who fight for survival in increasingly inhospitable climates. The last player standing after a series of challenges will win a billion dollars.

North is a veteran voice actor known for his performances in video game franchises including Assassin’s Creed, Call of Duty, and Uncharted. “I typically don’t do audiobooks,” North said in a statement, “but it was such an honor to be invited…to perform the words of one of the most talented and prolific writers of our time in James Patterson and the tour de force that is MrBeast.”

And MrBeast said, “Getting to collaborate with a legend like Nolan North on my first audiobook was wild, and we had so much fun recording and bringing the world of the book to life. Personally, I love audiobooks because they let me engage with stories while working and on the go—I can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’ve dreamed up.”

All editions of The Most Dangerous Games are slated for release on Sept. 1.
